Ondo Teams Up with Solana, BitGo to Tokenize Real-World Assets

Ondo Finance has launched the Global Markets Alliance, teaming up with major crypto names like Solana Foundation, BitGo, Fireblocks, Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, and others. The group aims to make it easier for people worldwide to access U.S. financial markets by turning stocks, ETFs, and other securities into digital tokens on the blockchain.
This alliance focuses on tokenizing traditional financial products such as stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds and bringing them onto the blockchain. Ondo Finance is preparing to launch Ondo Global Markets, a platform that will let wallets and apps directly offer tokenized U.S. securities to users outside the U.S.
Ondo Finance plans to launch a platform called Ondo Global Markets. This platform will let wallets and apps offer tokenized U.S. securities, especially to users outside the U.S. Ondo’s CEO, Nathan Allman, said, “Access to U.S. capital markets has historically been gated and inefficient. Standardization is essential to unlock the full potential of tokenized securities.”
Different members of the alliance will bring their own expertise. Bitget Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Rainbow Wallet will let users hold tokenized assets safely on their own. BitGo will provide regulated custody services to reduce risks, and Fireblocks will offer fast, secure infrastructure for big investors.
Meanwhile, Jupiter and 1inch will help with liquidity, making sure there is enough supply for trading. At the same time, Alpaca will add brokerage support designed for tokenized products
Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet, said, “Tokenized securities are a foundation for the next era of global finance.” Others echoed the importance of secure custody and interoperable systems to help the new market grow.
Notably, the market for tokenized real-world assets has grown 260% this year, reaching $23 billion, driven by demand for U.S. financial products and a friendlier regulatory environment.

Just recently, Ondo brought tokenized U.S. Treasuries to the XRP Ledger and completed cross-chain settlements with JPMorgan’s Kinexys and Chainlink. The alliance aims to turn tokenized securities from experiments into a key part of global finance.
